Deichmann helps raise funds for Barnardo’s association

European shoe retailer Deichmann has helped raise more than £ 185,000 for UK children’s charity Barnardo’s, as part of its Best Foot Forward summer campaign. Deichmann was also the main sponsor of Barnardo’s annual Big Toddle, a sponsored walk, for which the charity reported a 24% growth in registrations due to the partnership.

TV personalities Sam and Billie Faiers, Jacqueline Jossa, Lydia Bright and Jake Quickenden supported the campaign, encouraging individuals to get involved in the initiatives.

“Our partnership with Barnardo’s for the 20th anniversary of Deichmann UK has been a great success and we are delighted to support families in greatest need across the UK,” Samuel Deichman, Chairman of Deichmann UK, said in a statement. “Since the launch of the Back to School nationwide campaign at the end of July, this has been one of our most active and successful campaigns in the UK to date. ”

Along with the funds raised, the retailer has also set up a school shoe donation program. The initiative has provided new school shoes to 1,000 schoolchildren in 16 regions and communities across the UK.
