Woman rushed to hospital with head injury after ‘collision’ on north London road

A woman was rushed to hospital with a head injury following a traffic accident in Enfield, police said.

Members of the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene of Winchmore Hill Road in Enfield, north London, following reports of a woman with head injuries around 3 p.m. today (10 November) .

There has not yet been an update on the woman’s condition, but it was reported that she was taken to a “local hospital” for treatment.

A member of the Metropolitan Police said that although they were awaiting confirmation, it is believed that a collision caused the woman’s injuries.

An investigation has been opened to confirm the cause of his injury and the circumstances of the traffic accident.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told MyLondon: “Police were called by the London ambulance service at 3:03 pm on Wednesday 10 November at Winchmore Hill Road in Enfield.

“The officers attended and found a woman with a head wound. She was taken to a local hospital. We are awaiting an update on his condition.

“Initial investigations suggest that his injuries were caused as a result of a traffic accident. No vehicle stopped at the scene and an investigation is underway.

“Anyone who has witnessed a collision should call 101, giving the reference CAD 4152 / 10nov.

Drivers who were in the area at the time are encouraged to check any dash camera images they may have. “
